Lewis Cass Society

Lewis Cass Society is open to all Brothers, Sisters, and Friends of Masonry.

Members of the Lewis Cass Society have agreed to make charitable bequests in their estate plans to provide permanent endowment funds for either the Masonic Foundation of Michigan and/or the Michigan Masonic Home Charitable Foundation.

Membership Requirements

A Brother, Sister, or Friend of Masonry seeking entrance into the Lewis Cass Society must:
  • Make a gift in any amount to either the Michigan Masonic Home Charitable Foundation or the Masonic Foundation of Michigan from his/her estate,
  • Sign a Lewis Cass Society Statement of Intent

Privileges of Membership

Qualified members of the Lewis Cass Society will receive:
  • An annual invitation to a complimentary Black-Tie Dinner to be held in the spring of each year.
  • A membership certificate.
  • A lapel pin or a ladies charm.
  • An annual birthday card signed by the Grand Master.
During the first full year of this program, all qualified members of the Lewis Cass Society will be designated as "Charter Members." They will also receive a framed pen and ink drawing of the Michigan Masonic Home.
