Steps to Join a Lodge

  You've made your decision and now want to join a lodge.  

Fill out the contact information form.

  • Fill in your contact information. click here.
  • At a minimum, enter first name, last name and email.
  • If you want brochures mailed to you, enter your address.
  • Locate a Lodge near you.
    ( If you did not select a lodge we will locate one for you. )
  • Submit the contact form.
  We respect your privacy -- All information is strictly confidential.
Step 2 to joining a lodge

You are important to us, we will respond.

  • We will email you a response with phone numbers and email contacts.
  • We will also mail you a brochure. (If we have your address.)
  • We will contact the lodge secretary, both by mail & by email.
Step 3 to joining a lodge

Review the literature, then take action.

  • Contact the secretary and, if you wish, ask to meet him.

  • Ask to meet the secretary. (Questions you may ask)
    a. Find out if there are any functions non-members can attend.
    b. Ask to see a petition and/or assistance to fill it out.
    c. Find out the exact cost to join.
  • Once you receive the petition, return it to the secretary for processing.
Step 4 to joining a lodge

What happens next.

  • Your petition is presented to the lodge at the next available lodge regular communication.
  • A committee is appointed to visit you.
  • The committee chairman will contact you to set up an appointment.
    This usually takes place at your home. Family are encouraged to attend.
  • The committee reports to the lodge at the next regular communication and
    the lodge votes to accept or deny the petition.
  • You are promptly contacted of the results and if approved,
    a date is set for your Entered Apprentice Degree.
  • Thereafter, further instructions and scheduling take place after the completion of each degree.
